Heidenhain

Scout supports the following Heidenhain control models/versions:

TNC 320, TNC 360, TNC 426, TNC 430, iTNC 530, TNC 620, TNC 640, MANUALplus, DataPilot CP 620, DataPilot CP 640, DataPilot MP 620, DataPilot 4110, DataPilot 4290 …

If the machine is connected to the LAN in your company and you use the TNCremo application – then you can probably start monitoring your machine within 5 minutes using SCT.

However, if you are not using TNCremo, make sure the TNCOPT (or External Access) option is enabled on your machine.

In some rare cases, you may need to edit the TNC.SYS file on the machine and add an entry:

REMOTE.PERMISSION = [IP address of the computer where SCT is installed]

for example:

REMOTE.PERMISSION = 192.168.2.120

For TNC620/640: option 18 must be enabled from the machine manufacturer or directly from Heidenhain.
